Successful completion of major overhaul of piston and screw compressors at PetroKazakhstan Oil Products

The QANSAT ENERGY team successfully completed the major overhaul of piston compressors models 2D10-6.15/23.01-40.4 and 2D10-6.15/3.01-40.4 manufactured by ShenYang YuanDa Compressor Co., Ltd / Burckhardt Compression AG, as well as the screw compressor model WRViTS580 193 48 manufactured by Howden Turbo GmbH at the isomerization and Short-Cycle Adsorption (SCA-1 and SCA-2) units of the Shymkent Refinery.

As part of the repair, the restoration of key compressor equipment units was carried out, wear parts were replaced, cylinder and bearing groups were serviced, and the geometry and assembly parameters of the units were restored.

Special attention was paid to precise gap adjustment and alignment of the “compressor – gearbox – electric motor” system, which is a critical factor for reliable and stable operation of the equipment.

All work was performed in strict accordance with OEM manufacturers’ requirements and industrial safety standards.

Upon completion of the work, commissioning tests were carried out, as a result of which the equipment was successfully put into stable operation.
